No SR20 because driving, but it looked like that poor bastard of an owner was signing up for his gas station frequent-flyer card.
Also, this was in Newport Beach. I'm going back and forth whether the owner was Jalop. Z28 is inherently Jalop, but rich people in this area want fast cars for fast's sake. Just like the owners of the SLS Black, the 991 Turbos and the Aventadors I also saw today (it was a beautiful day, hence the amazing cars out today).

But do rich people (God bless 'em, I wish I was rich) who don't care about cars and only care about image really buy something like a Z/28? To the average person it's just a Camaro and only enthusiasts know it's something special, hence the posers wouldn't be interested.

True, that's why I'm leaning toward Jalop: Ugly car, manual transmission, few creature comforts, cannot drive near the limit on roads.

Yeah, I don't see a Z/28 as a poser car at all.

I'm too poor for a Z28, but I'd drive the hell out of the SS with the 1LE package

I wish I could afford a Z/28. But as awesome as it is, I'd opt for a GT350R.

I would, too, but I would wait until the next Camaro is released. That's why I can't pull the trigger on a Mustang.

If the next Camaro weighs in 300-400 lbs. less than the current one AND they build another Z/28 AND they keep the 427 it would indeed be the car of dreams. But that's too many 'ifs'. In my fantasy world where I can afford an 80k car, I'm buying that GT350R right now.

You would have to think with the new Camaro on the alpha platform is going to be much lighter, right? The 2015 Mustang GT w/ the performance package is only 70 lbs lighter than the SS w/1LE. I absolutely love the new Mustang and how it looks, but dammit, I think the next Camaro is going to be something worth waiting for.

I think it'll be lighter, I hope it'll be lighter. And if we're talking SS vs. GT not Z/28 vs. GT350, then yeah, I get why you're waiting for the next generation.
